Risk is an integral part of construction engineering. Understanding the risks of a project are important for the construction team which frequently responds to Owner requirements by managing the risk with insurance. What does the insurance company look at? Are the factors considered by the construction company the same as those considered by the insurance company? One tool to manage risk during construction will be explored in depth.
The presentation will focus on understanding engineering ethics by defining ethics, reviewing engineering Codes Code of Ethics, providing help in making ethical decision, and using case studies as a learning tool.
