REFRIGERATION
Today’s ASHRAE was formed when the Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers and the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers merged in 1959. At a national level, ASHRAE has many resources on refrigeration which can be found here:

Refrigeration Application – Heat Recovery
Heat recovery has become a popular application of refrigeration recently within the HVAC industry. This can lead to substantial building energy savings where simultaneous heating and cooling are required. This was the topic of our chapter’s September, 2020 monthly meeting.
